The Guidance Department 

The role of the guidance department is to address the developmental needs of the complete student:  academic, social, physical and emotional.  GNHS provides services designed to help students make important decisions about their education and career programs as well as about their personal lives.  All students may receive a variety of services that include counseling, interest testing, class scheduling, college and career planning and work-related activities.  School counselors are available to facilitate, advocate and collaborate by encouraging every student’s success in high school and beyond.
