Knight Open House on Tuesday, August 26th!
The evening will begin at 5:00 PM with an informal staff meet and greet. This year’s format is a little different—rather than following your student’s schedule, you will have the opportunity to stop by, meet your student’s teachers, and simply say hello. At 6:30 PM, we encourage all parents and guardians to attend our Parent University session in the Field House. This session will provide valuable information and resources to help support your student’s success.
We look forward to seeing you and kicking off another great school year together!

Grayslake North was full of joy on Wednesday, August 13, as students returned for the first day of the 2025–26 school year. From reconnecting with friends to diving into new classes, our Knights showed up with enthusiasm, purpose, and pride. It was a great day to be a Knight!

Real data. Real talk. On August 25 & August 26, national expert Jesse Weinberger will share insights gathered from D127 students, as well as strategies that every adult can use immediately to keep our students safer online.🚫 No children will be admitted. Due to the sensitive content, this event is for adults only. Translation & Interpretive services will be available.

District 127 kicked off the 2025-26 school year with a high-energy Opening Day celebration that reminded us all why community matters in education. Staff from both Grayslake Central and Grayslake North came together for a morning full of school spirit, music, laughter, and heartfelt recognition. The event was a showcase of the district’s theme for the year: Community Building.

On August 8, Grayslake District 127 officially welcomed the Class of 2029 as incoming freshmen at both Grayslake North and Grayslake Central High Schools. Building community is the D127 theme for the year. Orientation serves as more than a tour. It’s a rite of passage where students come together for the first time as one class, united by purpose and potential.

What are your kids really doing online? You might be shocked. Join us for an adults-only Internet Safety for Parents seminar at Grayslake Central on 08/25 from 6-7:30 pm & Grayslake North on 08/26 from 6:30-8:00 pm.🔒 No RSVP. No kids. Just truth and tools every parent needs.

We are so happy to see our Knights again, and to welcome the Class of 2029! #KnightPride
