Seniors! After you officially submit your college applications, watch your email! The college will email you about setting up a login on their portal. They might also email you scholarship opportunities!

**Course selection - Nov. 4 through Nov. 15

• Students will pick classes for next year and create/update a 4-year plan in SchooLinks

• Teachers will help you by providing class recommendations in their content area
  Course selection instructional video

All students will meet with their counselor in December or January to review their four-year plans (created in SchooLinks Nov 6-Nov 10) to ensure course selections are aligned with their pathways and finalize course selection

Students, spend some time thinking about your goals, pathways, and talk with your parents/guardians prior to the start of course selection

Seniors! If you apply to more schools that require a teacher letter of rec. Don't forget to add the teacher's name in Schoolinks. You will need to do this every time a teacher letter is required and it is a new school you are applying to.

February 18, 2025 - Senior Parent FAFSA Workshop

The role of the counseling department is to address the developmental needs of the complete student:  academic, social, physical and emotional.  GNHS provides services designed to help students make important decisions about their education and career programs as well as about their personal lives.  All students may receive a variety of services that include counseling, interest testing, class scheduling, college and career planning and work-related activities.  School counselors are available to facilitate, advocate and collaborate by encouraging every student’s success in high school and beyond.
