February 17 - NO SCHOOL President's Day
March 14 - The BIG GAME and Polar Plunge
March 20-21 - Mandatory Knights Block
March 24-28 - SPRING BREAK
April 9 - ACT Testing for FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES and Junior 2-day testers with accommodations. (NO SENIOR ATTENDANCE)
April 10 - ACT Testing for JUNIORS and Freshmen/Sophomore 2-day testers with accommodations. (NO SENIOR ATTENDANCE)
April 24-25 - Mandatory Knights Block
2/10/25: Knights Pass Application is now OPEN . Knights Pass eligibility for this application period will be determined based on your grades as of 8 am Wednesday, February 12th and cumulative attendance data. ALL students can apply for their Knights Pass by clicking here. Please complete the form using your school email. To ensure your application is received please complete the application using your chromebook not your cell phone. The application will be open until 3pm on Thursday (2/13). Grayslake North High School will be hosting a Cool School Polar Plunge on Friday, March 14th where staff and students have the opportunity to take the plunge to support Special Olympics Illinois! This will take place on the Football Field at the school during lunch periods. The theme is BLACK & GOLD!
If your student would like to participate in the Polar Plunge, please click on the GNHS Cool School Polar Plunge 03/14/25 link or scan to QR Code to register online and create your own personal fundraising page. Once you create your own personal fundraising page, you can begin to share the link with friends/family to fundraise money to support Special Olympics Illinois. There's a $25 fundraising minimum for students to take the plunge. If your student fundraises $100, they will receive a cool Polar Plunge sweatshirt from Special Olympics Illinois!
Knights Passes
Two GNHS students have been selected to participate in the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) All-State Festival!
Jeyvin Coleman composed an original piece titled "Icarus," earning First Place in the Vocal Ensemble Category for the entire state.
Jimmy White has been selected for the All-State Band, becoming the first instrumentalist in GNHS history to receive this honor.

Knights Pass Help
If a student needs their Knights pass updated because they had a schedule change please have them complete the Knights Pass Customer Service form. They will get an email when the updated knight's pass is ready for pickup. The pick-up again will be before school, after school, or during their lunch block.
March 8th and 9th - Any Grayslake North Student can bring a valid school ID and select a prom dress, men's suits, or accessories at no cost!

Our 3 Grayslake North Plane Pull teams drove out to O'Hare on Saturday morning to participate in the Plane Pull and we raised over $4,000 for Special Olympics Illinois! We won the 2024 Team Spirit Award for our positive energy and for our student-athletes/Grayslake North community being so supportive of our Special Olympics team at the Plane Pull. We can't wait to do it again next year! We appreciate all the support!
