Leadership Clubs
HUG (Formerly Link Crew)
HUG is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, HUG trains members to be HUG Leaders. As positive role models, HUG Leaders are motivators, leaders, and teachers who guide freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school. Eligibility for membership is dependent upon teacher recommendations and student dedication to the program.

Snowball
Snowball Club empowers students to become leaders and positive role models at GNHS and throughout the community. Members take an active role in leading the club while setting a positive example for others and showing how one student can make a meaningful difference.
Positive influence creates a snowball effect—small actions grow into lasting impact. Small actions can create big change.

Student Council
Student Council consists of hard working students from each class. We sponsor and organize the homecoming spirit days, parade, and dance. Community service is also a focus of Student Council. Throughout the year, we introduce students to democracy by hosting all the required elections within the school.
