District 127 is proud to announce that Grayslake North High School has been recognized as a School of Distinction by the Illinois Art Education Association. IAEA recognizes schools that demonstrate excellence in all areas of art education.

In observance of Yom Kippur, District 127 has no school on Monday, September 25, 2023. Yom Kippur, which means Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the Jewish year. On this day, Jewish people ask for forgiveness through a day of prayer and fasting.

ALERT: It has come to our attention that Round Lake School District 116 closed its schools today, 9/21/23, due to a safety concern. That safety issue has since been resolved. We do not believe the Grayslake 127 community was impacted or under threat at any time.

Yearbook/School photos are being taken this week! Freshmen on Tuesday and Wednesday, and remaining grades on Thursday and Friday. All students get a photo, regardless if one is purchased, and all photos are taken during your Knights Block in B162
