This page is designed as your one-stop resource to help you navigate the exciting transition to Grayslake Central High School. It will include information from selecting courses in January through freshman orientation, the day before school starts in August.

To kick off course selection for the 25-26 school year, all rising freshmen and their families are invited to an Open House on Thursday, January 9th from 6:30-8:00pm. The purpose of this evening is to give students and families the opportunity to discover more about the elective courses available, ask department chairs or counselors questions about core placements, and get excited about the diverse range of student activities and sports that GCHS has to offer!

Prior to this evening, families will receive their student's course placements for the core subjects (English, math, science, and social studies) via email.
